]]>Rumor has it this piece of history and one of the most haunted locations in the USA is set to be demolished.....THIS is due to the GREED of one person!!!!! All the lies and pain I endured for this documentry was worth it because in the end, I have a VERY large portfolio of images that will never be shot again.........My heart will always be with Morgan and I faught as hard as I could and did what I could to save it....In the process of this a lot of GOOD people got hurt!!! I pray all the souls that linger in there find peace. I will always LOVE you Morgan for you were the birth of my abandoned work.........

]]>Chapel of the Chimes was founded in 1909 as a crematory and columbarium in Oakland, California. The present building dates largely from a 1928 redevelopment based on the designs of the architect Julia Morgan.[1] The Moorish- and Gothic-inspired interior is a maze of small rooms featuring ornate stonework, statues, gardens, fountains and mosaics. The name "chapel" refers primarily to the style of interior design, as it is not a traditional cemetery chapel building.

The building maintains its original functions, and also serves as the venue for annual music festivals on the winter and summer solstices. [2]

The chapel's owners operate funeral homes and cemeteries, not designed by Morgan, in Hayward, also under the name Chapel of the Chimes, as well as Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes in Sacramento[3]

Chapel of the Chimes holds the records of the Chapel of Memories on Pleasant Valley Avenue.

]]>Byron Hot Springs is sometimes called the "Carlsbad of the West," after the famed European health spas. The resort hosted the famous, the wealthy, the infirm, and the curious alike during the early 20th century. The 160-acre property, in eastern Contra Costa County near the San Joaquin River, featured three grand hotels designed by renowned San Francisco architect James Reid. Amidst this stylish backdrop were prominent guests in 19th-century finery, early Hollywood royalty, Prohibition entertainments, mineral water "cures" for various ailments, and secret interrogations of World War II POWs (when it was known as "Camp Tracy"). Aside from the hot springs themselves, the resort boasts one of the oldest golf courses in the western United States.

]]>Linda Vista Community Hospital, originally called the Santa Fe Railroad Hospital and Santa Fe Coast Lines Hospital, is a former hospital that is located at 610-30 St. Louis Street in Los Angeles, California, United States, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood. The hospital was constructed for railroad employees in 1904 and reconstructed in 1924. The hospital was abandoned because of large amounts of lawsuits due to the hospital's unexpectedly high death rates. It has lately become the center of several paranormal investigations, the most notable investigation was initiated by Ghost Adventures, where the crew had stayed a full night in the hospital.
In 1991, the hospital ceased operation as a hospital. Since that time, it has been used primarily as a filming location. In January 2006, the hospital was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
